Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-05-05. We'll mark this section any time the policy materially changes.
What we collect
- Quiz answers — your option choices for the 20 quiz questions, attached to a random session ID (not your name).
- Result data — your matched archetype, generated portrait, and inner-letter text. Stored so you can revisit your result.
- Email address — only if you (a) pay for the $6.99 unlock or (b) request a magic link to recover your result on another device. Used for receipt + recovery, not marketing.
- Anonymous usage analytics — page views, button clicks, and quiz completion via PostHog. Strangers viewing a shared result page stay anonymous; identification only happens when the same browser took the quiz.
- Payment info — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not link your quiz answers to your real-world identity.
Third parties
We use Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe (payment), PostHog (analytics, US region), Anthropic + DashScope + fal.ai (AI generation). They process data only as needed to deliver our service.
Your rights
Email hello@yumetype.com with your session ID and we will delete your data within 7 days. EU/UK/CA users have full GDPR/UK-GDPR/CCPA rights; we honor them globally.
Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. Result-page ownership is detected via localStorage on your own device — never a server-side cookie. Stripe and PostHog set their own first-party cookies necessary for payment + replay; you can block these in your browser without breaking the quiz.
