Shounen Protagonist vs Tsundere Genius
Heart-on-sleeve meets heart-under-armor.
Both feel things at full volume, but their outward expression is inverted. A shounen protagonist wears their heart on their sleeve, charging forward with loud, infectious conviction. A tsundere genius wears their heart under a suit of armor, hiding their deep tenderness behind a mask of sharp wit and defensive sarcasm. Shounen is the warmth you see coming; tsundere is the warmth you have to earn. One is a shout of hope; the other is a secret promise.
The Shounen Protagonist
Hope louder than fear, every time.
The Tsundere Genius
High standards, secret tenderness.

Which one are you?
You're the one who runs toward the explosion. If that hits, you might be The Shounen Protagonist.
You insult them affectionately, then build them a thing in secret. If that hits harder, The Tsundere Genius is closer.
The difference is rarely as clear-cut as the surface suggests. Yumetype's 5-axis system reads not just where you sit on each dimension, but how those dimensions combine into a narrative role. The 90-second AI quiz is the fastest way to find out.
